This volume documents the lives and careers of the 1879 graduating class of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Baltimore, MD. It includes a history of the class while in school as well as eighty biographies of the graduates with some photographs. The class includes graduates from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, Tennesee, West Virginia, Florida, Texas, and Missouri. This volume was published in 1911, at that time nearly half of the 80 graduates had passed away. It was written by the class's secretary, Dr. George H.P. Cole.
