Description
In this letter from James Carroll to his wife Jennie Carroll sent from Las Animas Hospital in Havana, Cuba, where he is stationed for the United States Yellow Fever Commission, Carroll addresses two recent letters from Jennie. Additionally, he enclosed a copy of a cartoon from a local paper that portrayed the researchers in a poor light. He discusses medical concerns that Jennie is currently having as well as the health of one of their children. He offers Jennie medical advice for treating the child's illness. He additionally discusses a dream that Jennie recently had concerning money.
