The EAP Digest magazine was one of the “Voices of Employee Assistance Programs,” chronicling the period from 1980 through 2008. This collection of articles and advertising was a popular independent source of information and inspiration for the Employee Assistance field published bi-monthly by Performance Resource Press, Inc. with Editor, George Watkins. The primary purpose of the EAP Digest was to serve as a practitioner’s tool to professionals interested in designing, managing and operating EAPs. A second reason for the magazine was to stimulate discussion and creativity on the part of academic institutions to increase their acceptance and willingness to make EAP courses available. Finally, the Publisher hoped to increase awareness among institutions, corporations and researchers that these efforts to promote the field of Employee Assistance would both help the academic climate and the future growth of the industry.en-USEmployees--Counseling of--United States--PeriodicalsEmployee assistance programs--United States--PeriodicalsEAP Digest 1982Employee Assistance Programs DigestNewsletter/Magazine
