Abstract
In the complex healthcare ecosystem, clinician well-being is often overlooked—yet it stands as a critical lever for organizational success across all types of healthcare systems and provider entities. Far beyond a fundamental employee satisfaction metric, clinician well-being directly impacts an organization's financial health, patient outcomes, and overall performance. As a psychiatrist and coach, I've spent years studying the challenges facing healthcare professionals. It's become clear to me—and, fortunately, is becoming clearer across the industry—that clinician well-being is not just about individual burnout. It's about reimagining the healthcare systems we have created.
