Insights from the EAPA-SA Board At EAPA-SA Eduweek 2024, we had the opportunity to interview board members about the evolving landscape of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs). Tinyiko Godfrey Chabalala, Past President and current EAPA-SA Board Member: Pan Africa & Education Portfolio (2023– 2026), shared his perspective on the importance of adapting to current industry trends, securing management support and resources, and fostering diversity and inclusion within the profession. He believes that these factors are essential to ensuring that EAPs remain relevant, effective, and impactful in the modern workplace.
