Abstract

Despite significant expansion in services, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) continue to face low utilization and declining per-employee pricing. This presentation explores the gap between cost, utilization, and value in EAPs, emphasizing the limitations of capitated pricing models and process-based metrics. Drawing on industry data, it highlights the importance of measuring outcomes and examines alternative pricing approaches that better align EAP cost with demonstrated value and impact.
