Abstract

This was a poster presentation offered at the EAPA International Conference in San Francisco in October, 2025. It describes a specific project conducted in Niigata City, a regional city in Japan in an attempt to offer interdisciplinary support to small and medium-sized companies. In Japan, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have limited access to occupational health personnel, and opportunities for consultation are limited. This initiative aims to establish a system in which occupational health staff from different companies can seek advice and develop effective measures tailored to SMEs’ workplaces. The ultimate objective is to promote equity in occupational health support between SMEs and large companies.
