Abstract
The finding aid describes the Dental-Pharmacy Library Artwork Collection. It was curated by the librarians of the Dental and Pharmacy library until the 1960s when the libraries combined forming the Health Sciences and Human Services Library. The collection contains original and reproduction engravings, woodcuts, etchings, paintings, lithographs, advertisements, etc. depicting dentistry and dentists in artwork.

Description
The collection dates from 1505-1956 and undated. The collection was transferred to the Health Sciences and Human Services Library from the Dental-Pharmacy Library when the libraries were combined in 1961. The Dental-Pharmacy Artwork Collection contains original and reproduction engravings, wood cuts, etchings, paintings, etc. The collection is open for research; interested researchers should contact the historical collections librarian for an appointment or use the digitized items in the Dentistry Illustration Collection in the Digital Archive.
