This was a presentation by Ryan West to the Great Lakes EAPA Chapter on the topic of Impairment. Ryan's goals for this webinar were: To Propose a new, expanded definition of “impairment”, assess the reception of this new definition by industry experts and business leaders. Also, to identify opportunities to incorporate this new definition into workplace policies, workplace communications, and workplace training initiatives. Bottom Line: Ryan's goal was to introduce the notion of rethinking the definition of Worker Impairment. The webinar proposed new definitions and ways of thinking about this concept via group exercises.
