Description
In this letter from James Carroll to his wife Jennie Carroll sent from Las Animas Hospital in Havana, Cuba, where he is stationed for the United States Yellow Fever Commission, Carroll discusses a recent order of a set of Natural History for their children. Carroll informs Jennie that he has six new men who he exposed to mosquitoes immediately, and that he will monitor these individuals himself. Additionally, he informs Jennie that Reed has insisted that he board a ship home no later than October 28th.Included is a transcript of the letter.
