Description
An exhibit developed, written, and presented by Richard Behles, Historical Librarian, Health Sciences and Human Services Library. Photos of the actual exhibit and some additional image preparation assistance by Thom Pinho. Items in the exhibit consisted of works written by, or otherwise about, L.P. Brockett, Julian John Chisolm, Eugene Fauntleroy Cordell, William Alexander Hammond, S. Emma E. Edmonds, Clara Barton, Mary Gardner Holland, and Samuel Alexander Mudd. The Library’s exhibit coincided with the National Library of Medicine’s traveling exhibit “Life And Limb : The Toll of the American Civil War,” on display in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library from November 2011 to January 2012.Keyword
