A posthumous recognition of Louisa Parsons, this piece is described on the title page as "An address given in connection with the presentation of Miss Parsons' medals and decorations to the University Hospital Training School on the dedication of its new Nurses' Home, Baltimore, November 16, 1922." The University of Maryland Hospital Training School was the original nurses' training program which later gave rise to the University of Maryland School of Nursing.Description
