News release announcing the launch of UM Ventures 2.0, a joint initiative between the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) and the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) to facilitate entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. In support of the initiative is the Graduate Research Innovation Center located in the University of Maryland Biopark, newly renovated to promote collaboration among students, faculty, staff, and entrepreneurs. The space will also house UMCP’s Robert E. Fischell Institute for Biomedical Devices. Included in the news release is a photograph of Wallace D.
