dc.descriptionFacsimile of an original watercolor by Trilussa, the pseudonym of Carlo Alberto Salustri, renowned Italian poet and journalist who also created many satirical works of art related to dentistry. Bears caption “Caricatura di Trilussa.” Undated, but possibly early 20th Century ; printed by Arti Grafiche, Panetto & Petrelli, Spoleto. Trilussa was a close friend of Dr. Arrigo Piperno of Rome, from whose collection we acquired this and several other Trilussa works. Original piece measures 24 X 17 cm.en_US
