Next are two news clippings hand-dated "11/84" with captioned photos: caption 1, "The University of Maryland Hospital Auxiliary has pledged $100,000 for renovations to the main lobby of the Medical System. Mrs. Barbara Sutton, president, gives the first check for $30,000 toward the pledge to Chief Executive Officer Dr. Morton I. Rapoport..." and caption 2, "Born in a cabbage patch? Friends of the Hospital Auxiliary display some of the items that were on sale during the Bargain Bazaar. The Auxiliary raised over $3,000 at the sale." The remainder of the photos have the following captions: 1) "1984 10th Floor Waiting Room Reception" 2) "Auxiliary Luncheon-Board Room-1984" "Barbara Sutton, President and Nancy Farmer, Gift Shop Chairman" 3) "Auxiliary Reception-Board Room-1984" 4) "Blood Donor Room 1984" 5) "10th Floor South-Waiting Room-1984 Barbara Sutton" 6) "Rocking Chairs for Nurseries 1984." Ann B. Fraser, Jane Lentz, and Nancy Brown are also identified in the photographs.
