The first file is an announcement of an upcoming Auxiliary event featuring Dr. Theodore Woodward, "professor and chairman of medicine, School of Medicine" speaking on "The Birth and Early Contributions of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Hospital." The second file includes several captioned photos of Auxiliary members and events. Caption 1 (handwritten): "Mrs. Peter Rasmussen '77-78 Pres. Auxiliary/UofMd. Hosp. and on right: Mrs. John A. Herold Retiring Treasurer. Auxiliary purchased painting of Davadge [sic] Hall By John Stidman." Caption 2: "Dr. Leonard Scherlis, chief of cardiology at the University of Maryland Hospital, discussed the prevention of heart attack at the most recent meeting of the UMH Auxiliary."
