Article announcing the election of new Auxiliary officers and the organization's change of name from the "Woman's Auxiliary of the University of Maryland Hospital" to the "Auxiliary of the University of Maryland Hospital" to "reflect its mixed membership." Includes two captioned photos. Caption 1: "More than 500 persons visited the newly-refurbished UMH volunteers office during a recent open house. Visitors were greeted by volunteers and members of the auxiliary and enjoyed a wide variety of cheeses, dips, cookies, and other refreshments prepared by the volunteers."
