Wounded in Action: Reaching Out to Veterans Through Art and Programs
Description
Poster presented at the 2011 Medical Library Association conference. Describes the "Wounded in Action" exhibit developed by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and displayed at the Health Sciences and Human Services Library in 2010. In support of the exhibit, library staff produced an informational video, libguides, and enhanced the collection on the subjects of Traumatic Brain Injury and psychosocial needs. Additionally, a workshop entitled, "Combatting Information Fatigue: Health Information Resources for Veterans" was offered in collaboration with the Southeastern/Atlantic Regional Medical Library, National Library of MedicineKeyword
