Professional Stakeholder Survey on the Involuntary Psychiatric Commitment Process in Maryland

DescriptionReport prepared for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) Maryland. 246 professional stakeholders involved with the involuntary psychiatric commitment process in Maryland completed an anonymous 21-item online survey in late 2013. The survey asked respondents to rate their agreement to a number of statements regarding their perception of the process on a scale of 1 (strongly disagree), 2 (disagree), 3 (neutral), 4 (agree), and 5 (strongly agree). It also included options for open ended comments.
