AbstractObjectives: Dental caries is the most common chronic children's disease in the United States. To encourage healthy oral care habits, increase oral health literacy of children and caregivers, and to develop reading skills, a list of recommended children's oral health books was developed by an inter-professional team of reviewers for dental professionals, pediatricians, nurses, librarians, and early childhood teachers.
DescriptionThis poster was presented at the Medical Library Association (MLA) Annual Meeting and Exhibits, May 17, 2015. An earlier poster with the same title was presented in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MAC/MLA) Meeting in October 2014.
