Abstract
This is the program and collection of abstracts for poster and oral presentations for the 21st Annual GRSD. Graduate Student Research Day is a one-day conference that provides graduate students from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County the opportunity to present results of their ongoing research or a literature review to peers, faculty members, the University of Maryland community at large, and other interested parties. Cosponsored by the Graduate Student Associations, GSRD provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information, and enhances the professional development of students.Description
Includes brief biography of keynote speaker Barbara J. Culliton, "The Genomic Revolution."The Graduate Student Research Day changed its name to the Graduate Research Conference in 2000.
