Abstract
This is the program and collection of abstracts for poster and oral presentations for the 12th Annual GRSD. Purpose: To share the ongoing research among graduate students from all disciplines in the Graduate School and to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.

Includes brief biographies of keynote speakers Elizabeth Tornquist "Publishing Research," and Erik Arrhenius "Interpreting Gaia and Chaos - An Intellectual Challenge to Managing Our Future."
The Graduate Student Research Day changed it's name to the Graduate Research Conference in 2000.
