These slides were used in a January 21, 2025 EAPA webinar to help support members to hear experts in the crisis intervention space talk about some of the issues with the raging Los Angeles fires. Jeff Gorter, Mark Berg, Dan Hughes, Maia Dalton Theodore, and others joined this presentation with an audience of approximately 70 attendees. It lasted about 90 minutes, and there was lots of lively discussion, which is helpful for others when dealing with a catastrophic natural disaster such as the LA Fires. Jim Nestor contributed the set of slides, copywritten in October 2002 by the EAPA Disaster Preparedness Task Force.en_US
