Growing mental health literacy is one of the methods and tools of creating a mentally healthy organizational culture. Yet, pockets of reluctance undermine the consistency in addressing mental health in the workplace. Literacy in the area of physical health is growing among population health and wellness professionals in employee benefits. Construction workers, contractors, labor unions, and owners would benefit by closing the gap that exists between the physical and mental realms of health and overall wellbeing.Citation
