    Description
Exact date unknown, but believed to be possibly 18th Century. Depicts Saint Apollonia and two executioners in the act of her martyrdom. One witnessing executioner stands with a lance, while the other one holds dental forceps with an extracted tooth in his right hand. An additional figure peers from the background behind Saint Apollonia's left shoulder. Latin inscriptions beneath the image attribute the work to M. Steudl, artist, and Anto. Birckhart, engraver.
