dc.description	News release announcing the Champions of Excellence honor to the Microbiome Service Laboratory Team at the Institute for Genome Sciences, School of Medicine. During the COVID-19 Pandemic the team at the lab could process 10,000 or more COVID-19 samples a day coming from various collection sites around Maryland and other nearby states. The team worked 12-18 hour days, 6 days a week.
