Abstract
The COVID-19 Pandemic began in Maryland in March 2020, as a result the University of Maryland, Baltimore went to telework. These emails reflect the HSHSL's decisions surrounding COVID-19 and the accomplishments for February 2021.Description
During the COVID-19 Pandemic the University of Maryland, Baltimore, including the Health Sciences and Human Services Library, worked under an extended telework policy. During this time period, M.J. Tooey, Associate Vice President, Academic Affairs and Executive Director, Health Sciences and Human Services Library sent weekly email updates to the staff of the library. These emails reflect the challenges and changes the library staff overcame to continue to serve the University. The emails also highlighted library staff accomplishments as a way to maintain morale and keep the staff connected virtually.Series/Report No.
