The ADA and COVID-19Abstract
With the onslaught of new legislation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, employers may need to be reminded that they don’t want to lose sight of traditional employment laws. The Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act continue in full force during these trying times. In fact, now more than ever, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) may arise as a particularly challenging issue for employers.Citation
