Abstract
This finding aid describes the Health Sciences and Human Services Library Records. The Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HSHSL) is one of two libraries on the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s campus. The library traces its history back to 1813 and is believed to be the oldest library attached to a School of Medicine in the country. This collection contains materials from the HS/HSL including photographs, newsletters, and annual reports. The collection includes materials on the planning and building of two library buildings, as well as anniversary celebrations. The collection provides a glimpse into the history of the library and the University.Description
