In 2012, HS/HSL received NIH funding to develop SHARE (Student Health Advocates Redefining Empowerment), a three year project aimed at developing students' skills to advocate for better health of the personal, family, and community level. After gathering best practices from the first two years of instruction, lesson plans were standardized, and on September 2, 2014 the SHARE Curriculum website was announced: http://guides.hshsl.umaryland.edu/projectSHARE
