This finding aid describes the Susan H. Hadary DVD Collection, which contains 50 DVDs of documentaries produced by Hadary. The documentaries tend to focus on medical topics such as the health and care of older people or those with disabilities, trauma medicine, mental health issues, and addiction. Other documentaries focus on youth in West Baltimore. The documentaries were produced for the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the Discovery Channel, Maryland Public Television, and HBO. The collection includes several documentaries which were nominated for Emmy and Academy Awards as well as winners of both prestigious prizes including King Gimp, Grace, and Departing Rosewood.

This finding aid describes the Dr. Abraham N. Kaplan Papers. Dr. Abraham Nathan Kaplan was a general practitioner from Brooklyn, New York. The Abraham Nathan Kaplan Papers contain class notes from his time at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) dating from 1929 to 1931, biographical information dating from 1929 to 1997, and patient medical records dating from 1979 to 1985. The class notes cover Physiology, Preventative Medicine, Mental Hygiene, Clinical Medicine, Psychiatry, as well as Ear, Nose and Throat courses. The medical records are restricted.
