Abstract
Love has been the focus of social science research for several decades. Highlights of this scholarly literature are presented on topics of romantic love, love and health, the dark side of love, longing for love (loneliness), love and family, loving your co-worker, loving your work, and loving your workplace. Industry data is also used to demonstrate how EAPs support each of these aspects of love.

Description
Keynote presentation to 120+ attendees of the 2019 Annual EAEF Conference held in Paris, France. Theme of the conference was "Amour - What's Love Got to Do with It?" This presentation Love has been the focus of social science research for several decades. Dr. Attridge has a PhD in Social Pscyhology with a doctor minor in the Science of Interpersonal Relationships from the University of Minnesota. Before getting into EAP, he conducted research on aspects of love and close relationships while in graduate school.
