Description
Dentist's business card, written in French, advertising the services of his practice in Bruges, Belgium. Produced at the lithography business presumably owned by Edouard Alexis Daveluy (1812-1894). Undated, but probably c. mid-19th Century. Includes mirror images of the profile of a woman with and without dentures. Text on the card roughly translates to, "Portrait with Artificial Teeth - Same portrait without teeth. F. Fay, Dentist of London, Flamande Street No. 71, Bruges - Is at home from 10 until 3 except on Wednesdays." Original piece measures 13 X 18 cm.
