Program for the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare Fellows Induction and Lecture event. This event was held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. on November 10, 2012.
Dr. King Davis, Chair and Professor at the University of Texas, Austin School of Social Work, presented a lecture titled “The Policy Direction of Health and Mental Health after the 2012 Elections”.
The following 2012 Fellows were inducted into the Academy: Richard Catalano, PhD, Mark Courtney, PhD, Diana DiNitto, PhD, Ruth Dunkle, PhD, Charles Glisson, PhD, Daniel Herman, PhD, Rosalie Kane, PhD, Kevin Mahoney, PhD, Ronald Manderscheid, PhD, Flavio Marsiglia, PhD, Mary McKernan McKay, PhD, Daniel Meyer, PhD, Nancy Morrow-Howell, PhD, Mark Rank, PhD, Gail Steketee, PhD, Luis Zayas, PhD, and Sheryl Zimmerman, PhD.
