Description
In this letter from James Carroll to his wife Jennie Carroll sent from Las Animas Hospital in Havana, Cuba, where he is stationed for the United States Yellow Fever Commission, Carroll details his trip to Santiago to investigate an outbreak of yellow fever. He believes that his time in Cuba will be ending soon, and goes into great detail about a recent lunch with doctors from the Marine Hospital service.
