Description
These files document the various events hosted by President Jay A. Perman during Founders Week at the University of Maryland, the Founding Campus, October 22-26, 2012. The annual award winners for 2012 are: William Blattner and Robert Redfield, Jr., jointly sharing Entrepreneur of the Year ; Mary Lynn McPherson, Teacher of the Year ; Alexander Mackerell, Jr., Researcher of the Year ; Dick Cook, Public Servant of the Year. A special event this year was a Happy Birthday Davidge Hall celebration to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the University’s original building named in honor of the School of Medicine’s first Dean, John Beale Davidge.
