Abstract

A PDF of the eleven panels from the March 2020 Women's History Month Exhibit in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library. The exhibit highlighted the women firsts at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. It was researched and written by Tara Wink, Historical Collections Librarian and Archivist, and designed by Thom Pinho, Instructional Technology Specialist.

Description
The 11-panel exhibit was installed in the Weiss Gallery of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library in March 2020. The exhibit featured the first women of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, including first women graduates, faculty members, deans, administrators, etc. The exhibit highlights: Emilie Foeking, Louisa Parsons, Theresa Ora Snaith, Lady Mary Johnson, B. Olive Cole, Esther E. McCready, Barbara C. Hansen, Ruth H. Young and Alice Cary.
