Review of applied research program at a national provider of workplace well-being and mental health services - Optum. 1998 managed care era in the United States for employer and government (Medicare) markets. Examples of a variety of research methodologies for measuring outcomes for service users and understanding utilization trends. Lesson 1 = Outcomes measurement is a process.
