Description
Exact date unknown, but circa late 17th Century. Depicts Saint Apollonia half length holding a martyr's palm in her right hand and dental forceps with an extracted tooth in her left hand, within an ornate border. The name "S. Apollonia" appears beneath the image, in addition to the inscription which reads "Cornelius de Boudt." Some staining visible upper left. Mounted on matboard. Original piece measures 10 X 7 cm.
