Abstract
Introduction: Healthcare providers may face with significant mental health challenges, particularly in the context of workplace violence and epidemic outbreaks. To address these issues, a Psychological First Aid SOP was developed; this plan seeks to support healthcare providers in navigating their mental health challenges effectively. Project Overview: Employing behavior change theories, the plan collaborates closely with hospital staff to devise a structured SOP for debriefing on traumatic events utilizing a comprehensive approach. Discussion: REACH prioritizes staff well-being in promoting resilience and quality care delivery, while leveraging existing resources with the REACH protocol serving as a cornerstone for effective intervention. REACH presents a proactive response to the mental health challenges faced by healthcare providers. By prioritizing staff well-being, this plan not only elevates the quality of care but also fosters resilience within the healthcare community. Embracing systematic interventions, particularly those informed by the REACH protocol, is vital for effectively addressing the complex mental health needs of healthcare providers.
