Description
In this letter from Walter Reed to James Carroll, the second on the same day, September 7, Reed expresses great joy for news received that day from Cuba "Carroll much improved - Prognosis very good." Reed informs Carroll that the "Typhoid Report is on its way to the Upper Office!" The letter concludes with Reed asking Carroll "Did the mosquito do it?"
