Program for American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare Fellows Induction and Lecture Event. This event was held at Hotel Valencia in San Antonio, TX on January 18, 2014 to induct the 2013 fellows.
Dr. John S. Brekke, a professor at the University of Southern California, presented a lecture titled “The Science of Social Work”.
The following 2013 Fellows were inducted into the Academy: David E. Biegel, PhD, Denise Burnette, PhD, Iris Chi, DSW, Namkee G. Choi, PhD, Larry E. Davis, PhD, Jeffrey Draine, PhD, Richard J. Estes, DSW, Rowena Fong, EdD, Neil Gilbert, PhD, Yeheskel 'Zeke' Hasenfeld, PhD, Matthew Owen Howard, PhD, John Landsverk, PhD, Thomas P. McDonald, PhD, Curtis McMillen, PhD, Yolanda C. Padilla, PhD, Andrew E. Scharlach, PhD, and David T. Takeuchi, PhD.
