Description
Origin of this facsimile entirely unknown. Mounted on matboard with a backing of silver foil. Includes the woodcut portrait of Saint Apollonia depicting her wearing a crown and holding dental forceps with an extracted tooth in her two hands. The name "Appolonia" appears directly above her head. Descriptive text in Latin about Saint Apollonia also is mounted alongside the portrait image. Original piece measures 10 X 28 cm.
