Description
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, M.J. Tooey, Associate Vice President, Academic Affairs and Executive Director, Health Sciences and Human Services Library sent weekly email updates to the staff of the library. These emails reflect the challenges and changes the library staff overcame to continue to serve the University. The emails also highlighted library staff accomplishments as a way to maintain morale and keep the staff connected virtually.
In September 2021, Tony Nguyen, Executive Director of Region 1 Network of the National Library of Medicine, and Alexa Mayo, Associate Director, Research and Information Services, stepped in to write the weekly working emails.
