Description
Date and artist/engraver are unknown. Printed in Köln. Mounted in photo mat with backing that covers the verso of the piece. Depicts Saint Apollonia holding dental forceps with an extracted tooth in her right hand and a martyr's palm in her left hand. The inscription "Sancta Apollonia" and printer's colophon appear beneath the main image. Original piece measures 12 X 8 cm.
