Description
The COVID-19 crisis created many challenges, but it also inspired acts of amazing kindness among members of our UMB community. The Elm's On the Bright Side series uncovers and shares these stories.
"Dogtor" Loki and Caroline Benzel provide therapy in UMMC's cardiac unit. During the COVID-19 pandemic in person therapy visits were not allowed, so Benzel found a way to continue to give by creating Hero Healing Kits with useful items for essential staff at UMMC. Her work has inspired others in different states to do the same.
