Description
Tim Bobbin was the pseudonym of caricaturist John Collier. These originally appeared as Plates 5-8 in his 1773 book “Human Passions Delineated in above 120 Figures, Droll, Satyrical, and Humourous.” The three images are similar and depict people getting teeth pulled. These copies were printed with two images on each of two leaves, with each leaf measuring 41 X 26 cm. From the Piperno Collection.
