This is an illustrated fundraising campaign booklet outlining the needs and proposed features associated with the construction of the new University of Maryland Hospital facility. The booklet includes description of University Hospital’s heritage as a provider of care for the citizens of Maryland, of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds. It also cites the former facility’s shortcomings, which necessitated constructing a more modern and comprehensively-equipped building in order to deliver those health care services more effectively.
