Description
The Theodore E. Woodward Award, established in 1995, recognizes the significant and enduring contributions to the Health Sciences and Human Services Library by Theodore E. Woodward, Professor Emeritus of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge a significant contribution of resources or exemplary service in support of the Health Sciences and Human Services Library’s mission. The award’s recipients thus far are: Dr. Theodore E. Woodward (December 1, 1995) ; Dr. Joseph R. Lakowicz (December 4, 1998) ; Dr. and Mrs. James Earl of the Helena Foundation (June 19, 2003) ; Dr. Charlotte Ferencz (June 20, 2008) ; Dr. William J. Kinnard, Jr. (November 19, 2009).
