Description
Includes a newspaper clipping with captioned photo: "$20,000 Check--At the last meeting of the Woman's Auxiliary Board of the University of Maryland Hospital a $20,000 check was presented to Dr. George H. Yeager, director of the hospital, by Mrs. Arlie R. Mansberger, Jr., of Dunloggin (right) retiring president. This will be used for equipment for the new Shock Trauma unit and other equipment for patient care within the hospital. Center is Mrs. Joseph B. Workman of MacAlpine who will serve as president for the next term of office." Also includes a copy of the same photo with the date of May 1969 and names of those pictured handwritten on the back.
